StageReady is for MSPs whose clients run on Microsoft 365 and Entra ID. It doesn't replace Microsoft's tooling — it automates the manual work of getting each device into it.

Windows Autopilot

Windows Autopilot is Microsoft's service for zero-touch device setup, but a device has to be registered into it first — normally a manual, per-device step. StageReady captures each device's hardware hash and registers it into the client's Autopilot automatically during provisioning. See how provisioning works for where this fits in the flow.

Entra ID sign-in

Your technicians sign in to StageReady with their existing Microsoft 365 work account — no separate credentials to manage. Because identity lives in Entra ID, disabling a departed employee in your own tenant removes their StageReady access automatically. More in the security model.

Microsoft Intune

Once a device is provisioned and enrolled, Microsoft Intune takes over day-to-day management. StageReady handles day zero — getting the device built, enrolled, and configured — and hands a clean, Autopilot-registered device to Intune.

Managing many tenants

An MSP manages many client tenants at once. StageReady connects to each client's Microsoft environment through per-tenant credentials held only in Azure Key Vault. Connecting through CIPP and delegated access is on the roadmap. You only need a tenant connected at all when a profile enrolls devices into Microsoft — more on that here.
